alot of people see animals as something there for them, and it doesnt matter what they do to or how they use the animal. i think that its funny that many people say how much they love their animals( or animals in general) then when they get hungry they waste their money of a big mac or whip out a sandwich

They are uneducated about animals. But you can make a difference. Volunteer for your local rescue group and teach them. Visit the schools where they will be the future pet owners. Donate some money to an animal rescue organization in your area. I am a 7 year volunteer with our local Humane Society and I have made a difference in our community through education. I talk to everyone I can. I work with the kids at our local middle school and I raise much needed money for the animals. Visit www.hsus.org and see what you can do to change the uncaring attitude so many people have.
You can make a difference!.

the laws of the state i live in says animals are possessions, that's how people see them,i would have an objection to this except that when some one steals an animal in this state it is punishable by law. when the animal is worth more then 500 dollars then it is grand theft.

most of humanity isn't honey-it's just that the only time you see people and animals in the news is when they have done something terrible to them.I think humans for the most part respect and love animals.

In the words of Denis Leary "We all care about the cute animals."
"What are you ?"
"I'm an otter."
"... and what do you do ?"
"I swim on my back and do cute human tricks."
"... you're free to go"
"What are you ?"
"I'm a cow."
"... get on the ****ing truck."
