i like bare floors.....so my curtains don't match at all

You'll get the matching 3 piece suite next lol. Too much matching starts to look tad old ladyish!! Bit of two tone goes a long way, so long as the colours go!

Hmm even though i don't have much carpet it does match the curtains if you don't count the occasional times i put streaks in my curtains

the carpet should match the curtains...buy curtains before carpet...well i think it looks better

i dont have curtains. i have vertical blinds which are amazing because my cat cant shred them. but it seems that the two tone look is what the style is now.

Color-wise, they should complement each other. Identical color? No... it'll look like the floor cover is going up the wall.

well, in my opinion. i dont think so. it depends on taste.if u like to have every thg in the same color den u can.. but i suggest to make it like contrast. use a different color.

They shold look good together, but not the same color. Clashing never looks good.
