You might be tired or stressed without realising it. Sometimes your body goes on overdrive so you feel fine though you're worn out. Could be any number of reasons that are in your subconscious: an imminent move, friend in hospital, a presentation in 2 months, too much looking at the TV screen, arguments, post-flight jet lag, and trouble in relationships, drinking caffeine etc before you sleep i.e. disturbed sleep. Just rest even if you don't feel tired. As my mum says: "Just go to sleep".
She's never been wrong. Well- almost never.

A twitch in your eye that feels like a nerve is either tiredness, stress or a combination of the two. M eye twitched about 10-15 times a day for 20min spells for a good cople of months, so much so that i went to the doctor about it, but they said it was nothing to worry about. So don't panic or you'll only make it worse!!!

A twitch is caused by fatigue - have you been burning the candle at both ends lately, or done anything strenuous?

This tends to occur as a result of a build up, as opposed to how you have slept.

this usually happens when you are under some kind of stress, or worrying about something. the fact that you feel tired despite sleeping well would suggest you have something on your mind maybe?. if this is the case, talk to someone about it, it may help. good luck.

Have you checked to see if a family of illegal immigrants has moved into your eye? They may have set up camp under you cornea. If they are cooking spicy food that could cause the twitch.

This happened to a friend of my cousins milkman.

Honest.

you probably slept on it last night OR slept with your eye open a little (as we all often do). this can make your eye irritated when you REM in sleep. which makes it a exhausted and strained. it will sort itself out in a few hours don't worry.
