Pierre Soulages is an Abstract Expressionist who was known for using black and white. In fact he'd done it so well that they seem to have become colors with in his work.

Pierre Fichet is another Abstract artist with a taste for lyricism. Unfortunately fortunately I do not know whether these two gentleman liked green or not. I know that Fichet would only use two or three colors on his pallet.

Hope this helps.
