Did you know that this is the best and worst place where you could post questions, particularly in philosophy?

Is it more of a positive (best place), negative (worst place), or ironic (both)? Please expound your answer.

Good question!

Philosophy is the best place to post any questions. Good ones or Bad ones. I believe one must give due respect to the person posting it. If you think the question is posted in the wrong place, tell the guy in a good way. We are just humans to commit errors in the first place.

I am really sadden with people whom you think are very intelligent but they lost it because of character. I would rather choose one with a good character than an intelligent one. I am really dismayed how they treat other people. It seems they forget their respect to others because of too much intelligence. They think they are the best persons in Philosophy. That's why let us also look at the character of the person posting questions and answering questions.

Answering questions requires decency and not giving insults to the asker. A very elementary community guidelines to be followed. I think these intelligent people must first learn to follow instructions before posting their answers.

I pray that these intelligent people pretending to be one must first look at themselves before uttering words unbecoming of them.

I believe that like everything else in this world is, this place too is ironic.... what else can one expect in a category that is used for all practical purposes as a 'residual' section... but of course philosophy is so great that it can handle it all with dignity and equanimity.

Positive: Everyone is free to ask and answer whatever they want, so lot of opinions are available.

Negative: No one knows what the answer are anyway.
