I don't know if you are asking about in a pipe or on a run, but I would suggest starting on a run.

The easiest is a 180 - this is the way to start:

While riding switch (from your normal direction), head directly toward a bump, lip, etc. I like to teach people to do this on the egde of the run where the groomer leaves a big lip - then you are jumping into the softer snow. When you hit the lip and are airborne, rotate your board so that the tip swings DOWN the hill - this will give you more time. You should land with your normal direction with the board pointed slightly down the hill which will make the landing easier.
