That is a matter of choice ! Like so many things in life we have to choose how we will view life's circumstances....we can either choose to adopt a positive approach & trust that God will get us through or go the other way & try to get through in our own strength...
I trust in God so I have to be optimistic ...that isn't to say that I don't struggle , just that I have hope !

hard one to explain, I am very optimistic when I see people's lives in rubble, I am optimistic that they will live again. But as the days go by with no change, its really hard not to be pessimistic. Cheers!

Oh, explain too? Well, I tend to be practical in many things and if I can't see a good outcome for a course of action, I am pessimistic about it, but if it looks good, I go gung-ho for it so in that case I am optimistic. It always depends on the circumstances.

I'm very Optimistic,i sometimes to have doubts in things might happen wrongly but i dont put all my effort on it,i believe if u know what ur doing and where ur heading than just go with it why worry and put facts that things might not happen,so i mostly ignore them!

very optimistic, Im thankful for what ive got instead of mourning what ive lost, I look forward instead of back, i learn from my mistakes instead of thinking "what if". I find that this approach makes me enjoy life more as i only focus on the positive and it makes me happy.

I am very extremely pessimistic.
The less optimistic that I am, the less I will be disappointed.
-and the less I expect, the more surprised I will be.
Pessimsitic isn't very fun, but it's just how I am.. =/
