Not with a laptop (they don't tend have any spare PCI-e x16 slots in them, nor should they when you consider how big they'd end up if they did).

You accept the graphics chip that comes with it whether it's good or bad and if you don't like it you're only choice is to buy a new computer.

You can NOT add a standard graphics card to a laptop. There are no ports inside to insert the card into, nor any space for it to fit. You are usually stuck with the card that comes with a laptop.

And the ATI Radeon Xpress is not a motherboard. This is graphic card (actually chip integrated into the motherboard) that comes with the laptop. And no, you can not replace it (soldered into the motherboard).

I dont see why not as long as you have a spare pci slot.
