i think you are looking at this in a very black and white point of view. it can be devastating for some women to make this decision and you comment of "oh well i will just terminate it" is an insult to those women, but there are already million of kids out there who are living in poverty with drug users for parents. - Some women are in violent relationships, or have lost children previously and cannot cope with the thought of being pregnant again, or they are drug users or living on the streets. i understand your point of view, of women who use abortion as a birth control. i have seen several questions on here asking about whether they should have a second abortion or whether they can be pregnant straight after having one, yes that is wrong. But please don't be so harsh about women in general, every case is different and you cannot judge someone unless you have experienced the same situation.

i just found out my 16 yr old grl is pregnant and there is no way i would tell her to have an abortion,no matter what this child will be my grandchild and it is a gift from god.im sorry but i believe no child is a mistake, and accident, or etc.,no matter the circumstances i do not believe in abortion,in rape cases if the person does not want the child ,there is plenty of childless couples out there that would just love the child, and would kill to be able to have one to raise.

You mean, there is nothing wrong with being pro-choice, as the point of view you are expressing is pro-life.
I think that I don't have a place to judge, and if a person chooses to have an abortion, that is their business. Even though I agree with you that people should think through their concequences.

I am with you on that one, our government locks people up for killing other people everyday, and they allow women to kill there unborn. Makes no sense to me! I guess it is a matter of opinion as to weather or not you are taking a life. in my OPINION, what more proof of life do you need other then a heart beat the baby has a heat beat 22 days after conception,( I didn't know i was pregnant till I missed a period did you? and that is about the same time) but like I said my opinion, everyone has one!
I do support adoption!! if a women doesn't want the life she created there are women out there that are not able to conceive that would love the blessing of a child!

Being pro life is the same as being pro murder.
Each time a fetus is "saved" it causes the death of 12 loved and wanted children that are already born.

Then you're not Pro-life. I'm neither. I'm against it for myself, but I won't judge a woman who does it. It's not my business. Everyone has the right to their opinions...sure it's wrong what they do when they use it for birthcontrol, but they are choosing this life, we can't choose it for them. In the long run, women who have too many will not be able to carry children when they want to. So, really what goes around really does come around ten fold. As I tell my kids, "Worry about yourselves not what others do, unless it directly affects you."

maybe you don't understand it because you're never been in a situation where you have to choose between abortion and keeping the child.
don't judge people if you're not able to understand them or their situation.
if you're lucky enough to live without having to make that choice, just try to appreciate this, do not criticize others people who were less lucky than you.

Thinking in those terms yes heartless is even an understatement,but...
....abortion will always be debatable,so I choose to not try to understand another ones thinking, and just respect their own beliefs as they respect mine.=)

i think people can have opinions but i dont think ANYONE has the right to judge others until they have been in that situation themselves. each to their own. if a person has an accident and doesnt feel ready for parenthood, better they do that then screw up a kids life.
dont underestimate what abortion does to girls. they might pretend its nothing but underneath they feel different. my mother had one and it still effects her now.
also why are we the only country not to get ru468. its proven to stop the growth of brain tumours, if nothing else. surely thats a reason to bring it in.
.......................
to DON.M-stop the religious bs. how the hell would u know ur a man, im sure u really know what its like. for u to tell people there killers is disgusting. WHAT JUST CAUSE MY MUM HAD ONE SHE IS A KILLER. dont preach bible crap. all you are doing is reading off a text that ppl forced down ur face till u had to believe it.
if a girl wants to have an abortion then she should be able to have one without feeling like a murderer. how can u be so harsh. u try having a giving birth and post natal depression then see if you know what its like.
i cant believe you say they are killers. i can not believe you. grow up. ppl kill everyday. i think girls who have an abortion are no where near as much concern.
oh i have an idea! since they are killers why dont we send them to jail for murder, cause that would be justice wouldnt it?

I do understand - it's really a shame that all those outspoken antiabortionists are not lining the the pavement of clinics with offers to nurture, feed and house pregnant mothers and adopt their offspring after birth
There but for the grace of god ......not all have equal choices
