Does the ascendent sign deals with the people you admire or want to be?

In a way, the Ascendent does deal with people you want to be because it is similar to the way you present yourself to the world (whether you are conscious of this or not). More often than not, the Ascendent falls in a vastly different sign/element as our Sun sign and thus, it may be in sharp contrast to our true core essence. In this case, those people whom we attract or are attracted to (based on our Ascendent) are not necessarily those whom we admire but those who resonate with how we would like to appear to others/how others view us.

thats a really good question. the ascendant sign is what you show the world...im a scorpio... so at times people find me intimidating when they first meet me,, and they say scorpions have this mystical aura about them... but once someone gets to know me properly.. im the complete opposite... cos my sun sign is a taurus!!! so ascendant sign is usually about how you want people to see you.
