Direction is refer-ed with angle from a given direction.

A vector quantity depends on direction. That is to say it has a maximum magnitude in one direction and gradually decreases from this direction to a value zero in the perpendicular direction.
Any quantity having this property can be called as vector.

Time does not have this properly. Hence it is not a vector.

Heat flows from hot body to cold body - uni-directional. Here the meaning of unidirection is different from what we say about direction in vector quantity. Here the direction means from hot to cold. But in vector the direction refers the angle between one direction and another direction.

Similarly time is unidirectional from past to present. Here the direction is not about the angle between two directions.
The word direction has different concept and is not the same in all situation.

Time is a scalar =That means its a quanty that can be added.
However the inverse of time can be added vectorially. That means that frequency is a vector. But not time.
The reason is that processes in space are directional. Hence can be analysed in terms of frequency as a vector.
Relativity theory uses multidirectional vectors called tensors.
The product of space(distance travelled) and time is directional ; it equates to the Ratio of a Force and power per unit area, that exists in the substance of space , in a particular location in the volume of the Universe.
