How do I do that?

cosec 210

I can do the standard ones straight through my calculator but I'm pulling a blank with the cosec and the other advanced (?) ratios.

cosec(x) = 1/sin(x)

If you can use your calculator:
cosec(210°) = 1/sin(210°)
= 1/(-0.5)
= -2

If you cannot use your calculator:
cosec(210°)
= 1/sin(210°)
= 1/sin(180°+30°)
= 1/(-sin(30°))
= 1/(-1/2)
= -2

cosec 210 = cosec (180 + 30)
=> -cosec 30
=> -2

always remember;

tan x = sinx/cosx;
cot x = cosx/sinx
secx = 1/cosx
Cosec x = 1/sinx

so; cosec 210 = 1/ sin210
cosec 210 = 1/ -0.156434465
cosec 210 = - 6.392453221

cosec =1/sin and 210 = 180 +30 so cosec210 =-1/sin30 =-2

the answer is -2. just find sin210 first
cosec210 = 1/sin210.
