If i install firefox will it interfere or remove any other AVG/ spyware programs already installed?

No. Firefox is a web browser. It will work fine with AVG and spyware scanners. Have used it and AVG together for several years. Like it much better than IE. In fact, I recently read that the number of Firefox users has almost caught up with IE users.

Nope, first answer is completely correct. There is no downside to Firefox.
