how to convert decimal to gray code????

plz suggest the simplest and direct way.... or may be a short trick.

If you mean what I mean by gray code, it is a pattern, so you are not converting one decimal to something else. The purpose of gray code is to make an oplical encoder where only one bit changes at a time, instead of, for example, 4 bits changing as you go from 15 to 0.
