Yes, but it is not a very interesting story. One of my sandals broke, so I took them both off and continued on my way in bare feet.

Yes I have had high heels break on both the strap and heel before at a wedding and went barefoot for the remainder of the time.
A cheap pair of flip flops also broke when I was out with some friends shopping so I had to go on in bare feet, my friends didn't want me to feel left out by being the only one so all five of them ditched their shoes and went barefoot also.

No, I'm always barefoot but I am so by choice. I can't remember ever having a shoe break or losing a shoe in any other way in the years when I still wore footwear.

Yes another reason I hate high heels. They have broken on me so many times so I just took them off and threw them in the bin and went on in bare feet. Some flip flops too have broken on me but I also just took them off and went barefoot.
I actually liked it more when they broke, it gave me an excuse to go barefoot.

yes i was on my way to a wedding reception and my shoe broke...luckily the shop where i bought them was open just about to close though i had to beg to get an exchange.it was the first time id worn them and i had to walk through the city centre in a posh outfit n no shoes!
