Some people have a "don't give a care" attitude, they have no regard for your feelings. Or, maybe something better they wanted to do came up, which is just as inconsiderate, they could have called. Whatever. Just let it roll off, like water off a duck, guy wasn't worth it, anyway. And, it's not cause they didn't like the person who got stood up, they aren't good enough for her, that's all. And, sometimes, if it's someone you just started dating, he may have been cheatin' on someone else, whatever the case, chalk it up to experience...

Some people stand others up cause they are just plain mean. Others like myself have stood people up (once or twice) because they were afraid of what the other person would think of them (weight, height). And then there are others who honestly could not get to the meeting point on time or at all cause of car trouble, no phone, etc.

that's my two cents worth :)

yes I had a Peruvian girlfriend once who was incredibly bad at being on time and sometimes didn't even show up. It is a cultural thing as all my peruvian friends were the same.

Surprising Peru is still a developing country isn't it?

Because they are inconsiderate ******* hehe. You're lucky you know now, instead of later on if the relationship progressed.

I have too and it is totally mean ! ....... you sit there waiting around for them and then they never show ....... you could have been doing something else instead of waiting on their sorry behind ! Just be happy you aren't with them ...... it is better to find out early that they are selfish, disrespectful, mean spirited, and flakey before you truly get attached to them ! ........ = )
