It is both and none. I get board with the work I do. I do so well at it. It is boarding to have to get through it easily.( nice I don't have to work hard) I like a challenge so I will look to do jobs that take more skill and work at it. This could be a state of mind ; however, I really don't think of it at all I do it. and I don't feel it. It is jut there. I my case it is none.
Not to say that I don't get boarded where it does become one or the other because I do sometimes.
Bottom Line: It is both to me.

Emotions are states of mind.
You're basically asking if boredom is a state of mind or a state of mind.
Either answer suits just fine.

It is a state of mind, by nature, we are looking for stimulation, be it by things we see, hear, feel, touch or taste. Boredom can happen at any time, even during activity. It is all based on the stimulation of the mind.

Boredom is lack of thought. It is not lack of feeling. If you can think and if you do think, you will never be bored, even if you are not doing something.
