Either you will need to modify the engine or the vegetable oil or you will have more problems than it is worth. To change the fuel, you will need to convert the vegetable oil into bio-diesel. See the device in the first link below. Mostly what this device does is it removes the glycerin from the vegetable oil so it doesn't gum up your fuel system and injectors. If you don't convert the vegetable oil to bio-diesel, you need to modify your vehicle to run on the straight vegetable oil. See the second link. This device stores the vegetable oil in a separate tank. When you first start your engine, it first runs on diesel. The coolant from the engine is circulated in coils inside the vegetable oil tank to heat it. Once the vegetable oil is hot enough, the system switches over to vegetable oil. When the engine is turned off, it runs an additional few seconds while the fuel system is purged with diesel to keep the fuel system from clogging up with solidified vegetable oil.

As long as you filter the chip fat first, it should be OK. The only problem you may have is in the winter when it get cold, the oil will thicken up and may not flow well to the injectors.

If you can get the fat into the fire it should work ok but the chip fat should be of a consistency to pass through the fuel filter and the injectors first~~

should not be a problem but if you do the car will smell like a chip shop and if caught you can get nicked and fined for not paying any excise duty on it. plase also be aware to change the fuel filters at a more regular interval as the chip fat will clean the pipes out .

lokk on the internet as well for your local biodiesel place as well
