Yes
Oh yes and then I would take his place. I would leave out the mass murder part. War might have been necessary.
And then I would rule the world.
Seriously. It would be the birth of a socialist utopia...well until it went horribly wrong because I was playing god, but who knows...that can't go wrong EVERY time can it?
Anyhow by not letting the Germans not experiment on the Jews, the Pols, the gypsies I would have made the world miss out on a lot of medical knowledge, but I would bring wikipedia or something with me...I mean as long as I am bending history to my will, why not?
I hope this helps.
also I would crush his little hitler baby head with a hammer or maybe put him into a sack with a couple of bricks and we could go play by the river. Or maybe I would just tell him he was a good artist and that its ok to be queer and maybe give him a hug or something. Thats probably all the sick little man needed.

You don't know if that would even change what happened. You put too much power in one person. He was not alone. Maybe without him, Germany would be same and more powerful. Maybe Hitler is the reason Germany was defeated. Maybe another one in his place would have gone farther and done more than Hitler.
If not, without Hitler and the World War, what about the Cold War? We still had Stalin the evil friend and 100 little rulers in little countries who do the same thing for all these years.
If you could keep Jesus Christ off the cross, would you do that?

No changing history would have unknown consequences for the future. He was essentially the cause of WWII. And WWII cause alot of things to happen for the present. Its one of the most if not the most important war ever. It gave countries a reason to restore Jews to there rightful place in Israel. It caused the US to stand as a super power above any of the European nations. It caused the creation of Nuclear Power. It caused the movement of the seventies. It caused the cold war which cause wars like Afghanistan vs. Russia, Iran vs Iraq, Desert Storm, Iraq War. In a way you can say it caused 9/11. It gave several countries such as Japan Democracy. It freed a few african countries.
WWII,which essentially Hitler caused, created a huge effect that is the reason behind a lot of things happening today. And while some may be negative effects. Who knows how negative an alternate effect may be.
What if US didnt become a super power. And democracy wasnt the top government. And a facist state was the world power?

Nah.
I'd just leave a box for him.
And in that box would be a selection of media demonstrating how much the modern world hates him for what he brought about.
And under that....
I would give him the full details on World War 2... on the deaths caused to both sides... the machinary, troops and other technical data of all forces involved. The mistakes made....
From there... it would be interesting to see how the new history plays out.
Would Adolf get shocked or guilted out of taking on the role by the media of his hate-cult? Would he go ahead with it? Would he end up winning the war and being considered a hero rather than a villain?

It's a paradox in physics - I have read in Stephen Hawkin's book "the Universe in a nutshell" that even if you could travel faster than the speed of light (which Einstein has said is impossible because E=mc2 means that for something to travel this fast it must have an infinite mass) you wouldn't be able to kill him - because it would have already happened.
There is a copy of "The Illustrated Universe in a Nutshell" which is actually quite accessable even for a lay person, I really recommend getting a copy from the library - it will blow your mind.

If I could go back in time to 1889 and stand over Hitler's cradle, I would not harm him. I would gather that baby up into my arms and run as fast as I could with him. I would steal away with him far from the insane people in his life who demented him and turned him into a monster. I would love him and protect him from brutality and violence and cruelty and religion and sickness and hatred and intolerance. I would raise him in America where he would grow strong and healthy and confident and hardworking and be a normal happy man who marries a nice girl and has a dozen ugly babies, all of whom I would love, too. If we took better care of our children, we would create less monsters.

No..I would take him and place him into a different family....no baby is born evil...it is their circumstances that create them...ADOLF,as an older man saw what many young, innocent IRAQUI males are seeing now...their country in ruin, children starving to death, women prostituting themselves to live...a Veteran from WW1, Adolf became an angry man as a result of Germany losing to WAR. WE will keep creating many new 'Hitlers' as long as WAR is our answer for everything....so don't waste your time smothering innocent babies in their cribs...okay?

No, to change one piece of history would rip a hole in the fabric of the future as we know it today and to change what we may be dissatisfied now to what we may truly regret at this moment in time

Going forward is a feasibility . Going back is impossible.
Besides changing history that has already happened would have dire consequences for the future.
