First, I'm not "pro abortion" -- I'm pro-choice. That means I realize it's a woman's right to make her own decision about the issue, and none of my damn business. Second, both eggs and sperm, before meeting up, are "living life forms." So where do you draw the line? Pretty much everybody agrees that a fetus at about 6-7 months gestation, that can usually survive on its own outside the womb if it has to, can be considered a "living human being." Pretty much every reasonable person also agrees that an undifferentiated clump of cells from a fertilized egg a few weeks old is in no way a "living human being." Somewhere between those two, we need to legally start considering the thing in question a human being, and afford it rights under the law. The US Supreme Court compromised, and decided that up to the end of the first trimester, the woman's rights are more important than that undifferentiated clump of cells. I think that's a reasonable compromise. Peace.

Hell yeah...i'm still struggling to deal with it. A year ago there's this old professor who taught me during the final semester of my undergraduate studies who apparently had a huge crush on me. I didn't want anything gross to happen but it happened coz i was off guard...i was so naive that i didn't think that such a respectable scholar/author/writer/poet would be so ill-mannered. It was also so overwhelming and shocking that i didn't know how to get out of the freaking trap. To make things worse, i already have a boyfriend at that time. The whole situation and what happened traumatize me until now i guess. Still, am trying my best to get over it. :-(

Nothing, that I would consider traumatizing. But when I think of the various odds in outer space against which our spaceship, Mother Earth, is surviving in such a safe manner...I start believing in God...much to the chagrin of my friends overseas, who are mostly atheists.

When I was only 4 years old, my parents let me watch "The Exorcist" at night on my own. I finished the movie, all right, but after that I had a hell of a childhood... I got so obsessed with it, that to this date I've seen it over 40 times!

Plenty but none of it that I did not learn from....
BTW, I see you have shut down your Q&A.
I am sorry that I cannot be your fan this time.
I figure your problem may be related to me coming back to answer your questions.
So I guess we will see if I can anwer any of your questions anymore without you or I being violated.
I will just have to guess if you ask something.
That may be the point.
Sorry to see things going this way again.
But, like my answer says I learn from things....
In case this is it, be good.

One and only trauma, when I was 16. He was my first love.
He was 25, about to get married to a colleague of his and I did not know it.....
I learned the hard way.

How did you know? This month makes the 16th anniversary of mine...... and it's still just as fresh as if it happened yesterday. I am trying to come to terms with it but it's unbelievably hard. I know that I have been forgiven by HIM. I just don't know how to forgive myself yet. At times, I am my own worst enemy.
