I have created a new website for my business but have only limited knowledge and not loaded. Hacker kindly told me the last time that I was ~$*$ at website security! Anyway to trap these guys or at least stop it from happening for the third time..

If your existing web hosting company can't protect their servers, find a better one. It's their job to prevent hackers from getting in.

First step is to set the security on the files in the site properly. There are various permission levels shown as numbers that represent whether the owner and visitors can view at all, or change the files. Get those set so that visitors can see the pages you want them to see but not change them, and cannot see the admin files and directory folders structures at all.
