I don't think so. Rene Descartes used to sleep in, he woke up every morning at noon.

I don't think so. Many famous people kept sporadic schedule. It is not possible to become a morning person by discipline in my opinion. It is possible to make yourself wake up, but it is not possible to make yourself function most effectively at the hour that your body doesn't like to be awake. Really I noticed it on me and my brother - he'd rather wake up at 5 and do his homework than do it in the evening, I'd rather stay up late and finish them. We had equally good grades in school. On the other hand, I find it impossible to fall asleep any earlier than midnight, 2 am is standard bedtime for me, and he would rather go to bed at 8 pm.

In business however, you have a natural advantage if you are a morning person because a lot is happening from 9 to 5. If you're not effective from 9 to noon, then you are at disadvantage.

Generally? That would take research. Why don't you use the internet for a quick search if you honestly want to know, rather than asking for opinions that can only name specific people, but not speak for "generality"?
