I dont think that Bill Callahan will be at Nebraska next year. I think he will be fired at the end of the year or he is going to step down as the head coach. Sure he just signed a 5 year contract before Tom Osborne took over..but I dont think that will save his job after this terrible season..

Osborne won't have any trouble coming up with the money to buy out Callahan's contract. Callahan won't resign regardless of what happens in the next two games. The issue is that we need a coach who cares about the history of the Nebraska football...I would like to see either Bo Pelini or Turner Gill

It doesn't matter what Callahan signed, he is done.....and he knows it. This is no longer a glamor job....the team needs two solid recruiting classes just to get pointed in the right direction. Someone has to come into the program with instant credibility from making huge strides with a "mid-level" program and the energy to get this thing kick-started, along with a full understanding of what college football is all about...that person is Skip Holtz.

Look for the Big Red to go after Wake Forest head coach Jim Grobe. He has rejuvenated a stagnant program through aggressive recruiting and outstanding game plans. He would be the perfect fit to get the Huskers back to the National title!

My choice 4 years ago was Turner Gill. And he's still my choice. Gill is also my all-time favorite Husker.

they will be coming after Bo Pellini. Hate to lose him, but he will be a head coach very soon.
