well it has alot to do with many factors if you really think about it...first being that alot of the jokes that they've used since the beginning was geared towards adults...as you get older you begin to understand them and it all becomes clearer and you laught more. Other factors are one that is clearly evident...society is becoming more liberal and less conservative...what wasnt okay to say then is now okay to say..and perhaps many other things that we still cannot say may be tolerable. Society is learning to adapt and become more tolerant. And finally, yes, to some extend the show also gets better...because the producers and writers are getting older..and wiser...and they've been working with that show for more than 10 years...they should only get better...not less better...its like drawing...the more you draw the better you get!

Eh, I thought this years Halloween episode was kinda week.

a Mr. and Mrs. Simpson spoof? Not only is it not Halloweeny, but it wasn't funny.

I still don't think they've jumped the shark though...Maybe season 25...

No. It's a state of mine. You have been brain washed by the programme writers. That's there job. They need to keep the ratings up to get a pay check.

i disagree, i think the show has gone way down hill, its normal you cannot be on the air for that long and not run out of ideas.
