If you have 0.50 M sulfuric acid, and you want to get to 0.25 M sulfuric acid, what must you do?

Dilute by a factor of 2, of course! That gives you twice the volume you initially had, so you'll end up with 100.0 mL of 0.25 M sulfuric acid.
