I mean, mother love, God's love, love between siblings, love between spouses...

The saying "unconditional love" is so old that I
don't think we give it much thought and what it
means. I think we tend to feel bad if we can't
give it - and we shouldn't.

Mothers of murderers and the like probably
still love their children; but they might still need
to banish their son or daughter from being with
the family. So, they might feel the love, but grief
and practicalities might outweigh it and stop
it being expressed.

If we loved a partner unconditionally, would that
mean that we loved them even if we found out
they cheated; or molested children; or murdered
someone... and so on.

I think we can give love unconditionally as long
as it's returned in full measure.

If the condition of him giving love is that we
unconditionally accept that he is a cheat,
then he's giving conditional love and
demanding unconditional love in exchange.
That's seems a pretty poor bargain.

We can only give unconditional love as long as the
person receiving it values it. Once they start to
abuse it; well one would be a fool to keep on giving.

The love between two people in love should always be unconditional. What you call the relationship is not important.

That I keep wondering right now...if someone always seeks for attention like saying I'm worthless...should my love be unconditional and give him full support...??

Love is always unconditional. If it is otherwise it is spurious. Just like the nature of fire is heat so is 'unconditionality" the very backbone of love.
