Not everything is caused by you. Like if your alternater on your car goes out it's not ultimately your fault. If you're a depressed, or cynical person, a lot of human suferring is caused by your own thoughts. How you perceive things, how you choose to handle obstacles. I hear so many people crying that they can't find jobs because the economy is so bad. But half of those same people haven't even tried to get work , haven't filled out applications or made resumes. Or people that spend so much time comlaining about how messed up the world is, so they waste their time bitching instead of getting out there and living.

Yes, I do. Generally speaking of course. A guy rear-ends my car..... if I had chosen to stay home rather than going for a drive, I wouldn't have been involved in an accident. If I spend too much money and can't afford my credit card bill, that's OBVIOUSLY my fault. If I'm really upset because someone said something rude or unkind to me, its my fault for letting that person have so much power over my emotions. Things like that.....

The only thing "thought provoking" is the idea that you would BELIEVE that the provocation of your thought would provoke me into thinking that I was just provoked into thought. Now how is that for provocativeness?

Yes, I'm starting to think so, or at least that I indirectly cause events or situations in which inevitably will domino and directly cause problems for me.

Yes.
What's the point in sitting around blaming others? I believe that's why most people don't learn from their mistakes.

yes all my problems have been caused by relitavely small decisions that I have made. Had I made a different decision I may have had a different set of problems.

I can literally draw a rather crooked line to one singular event that catapulted me into my self created hell on earth.
Regardless, the answer to your question is yes. I am my own worst nightmare.

Hoodwinked!
Hoodwinked, I say!!!
Some will say, the devil made me do it!
Some will say, I make it all happen!
Some will say, the effect is determined by the cause and we each initiate the cause.
But I say, there is one and only one.
And I didn't do it!
