I don't know about them but I slipped & fell down my stairs & broke my leg. Yes.

Have you checked to see if there is snow on the mountain, a bat in the cave, a mile of toilet paper on your shoe, someone behind you making faces or your fly is open? If so & it is none of the above, stare back & when no one else is looking stick your tongue out at them & then say loudly didn't your mother teach you any manners.

If you mean staring vs. stairing (like up the stairs). Yes, lots of people do. My Mom always said those are folks that weren't raised properly and have no manners.

Yes. It is very common. Because it's so common, it's also understandable. We are just interested in others, and if we have nothing else to do, why not see what's happening with Sally or Joe? Anyway, as long as you're not a stalker( yes I know the difference), you can stare all you want,as long as you don't SAY anything mean & evil. ..ThaT, is what I don't like.

I can't help it. I like to consider myself as being very observant rather than having a staring problem.

I, myself, negotiate stairs with amazing deft (often 3 at a time).

Tell me about it! Do like I do either flip them the bird or ask them "Do you have a staring problem? Do you want your eyballs poked out"? works everytime!
