no im too cheap for that place so i just take him to the dumpsters behind red lobster. yum day old biscuts and moldy crab legs omg its soooo good. sooooo much better than the stuff you get at the shelter. lol j/k

Maybe, but only under the condition that she knew that is where you were going. However, if you have to go to a homeless shelter for food maybe you should concern yourself with other matters, like getting a job, or one that pays better. If you really HAD to take your first date to a homeless shelter for food, you probably shouldn't even be dating - it sure won't leave a good impression unless she is also very poor, and understands. I recommend against it.

I will qualify that I would rather drink piss than align myself with "conservatives" or "liberals" and with that said, I will recall that when I was employed by the government I had routine occasions to be tasked with locating essential resources for homeless people, battered women and abused children. Without exception, the go to alternative was always a Church or Christian Charity. Why is that? Why would this secular nation have so few answers and open arms for the needy when they truly need it most? While I am neither Christian nor "conservative" it is people like you that have taught me to hate your side of the equation with unmatched ferocity.

OMG I know exactly why I stay single now! Is that all that is left for a date with a guy? If some guy took me there I would be waiting for the cameras to come rolling out and then someone yelling YOU'VE BEEN PUNKED!

LOL, you got me there. What in the world was I thinking if I was that poor bastard. Letting the girl munch some day-old, some-call-it-a-hot meal? I wouldn't. I wouldn't I tell you. Why not have a nice pork and beans that cost about a penny and share it.

if I am poor & homeless and have no shelter and still dare to fall in love, then I would definitely take my first date to that.
