How does it feel when someone asks a question and then seems to vanish from the scene?
After you have replied and so have many others, there is no response from the asker in spite of some answers being very good and appropriate. Not even a simple action of selecting one of the answers as the best answer - or a comment of thanks!!!
And what if it seemed to be a genuine distress call - and you had to spend time and effort to respond correctly !! How do you feel if the questioner does not provide any feedback at all.

I honestly feel that it would be kind of someone to answer any questions i may ask. I'm like you just a simple Thank you would be kind. just for them putt in the effort of wanting to help someone out. even if it wasn't the right answerer's or what you wanted to hear.

Sometimes I'm curious as to how everything turned out. They put it all out on the line for everyone to see, but never update. It just proves that I'm too addicted to this silly forum. I need to get out into the real world more often.
Other than that, they probably don't have constant access to the internet and forget that they have a question. Eventually, the "public" will vote on best answers and one will be chosen for the asker.

Disappointed. Feels like I am wasting my time, when I take time to respond to a question. Why post a question, if you're not going to even bother to read the answer and select a best answer and give feedback.

Am always curious to know the asker's feedback. Especially when he has taken pains to type out a question.

100%right...wenever i think i hav given a good answer or atleast tried to i try to look back at it...and wen my answer gets selected as the best..the thng i look out for is the comment of d asker..sometimes these small thngs make ur day!!!!

Don't sweat it. Anyway, maybe the person decided to let
the community vote for best answer, I hear that happens.
I am new here.
It would be nice to get at least a Thanks but some do
not do it. That's the way it goes.

never EVER purchase a modern-day which will never make everyone experience particular What you're able to do is what comes from in the heart....What they think of is ultimate and can be accomplished to make no person yet in simple terms them experience particular i surely wrote a Poetry e book .....and To honour my ultimate chum and to make him experience enjoyed and cared and particular .....I committed all of my one hundred Poems to him.... while he observed......i attempted to no longer look at him yet once I did ...I observed a huge smile and A Tear trickling down his face.....He hugged me so puzzling that It felt like there isn't any Tommorow....

I would feel sad because if other answers are considered good, well, they should at least be given SOME appreciation or else it just isn't fair for others

well, at first i feel like a little bothered, but then i hope they just got to read my answer and that they got the message and it helped, that's what really matters. other then that whatever. it's no big deal....=o) there are worse things in life, i don't sweat the small stuff.

If it was a question where they were in distress, then I wonder if they are okay..otherwise it doesn't matter to me.
