This article says that the dimensions are close, and that the coffer is a little larger than the Ark.

It has been said that the thing in the King's chamber was a coffer not a sarcophagus. Most egyptologists would say it was not a tomb, because it did not resemble tombs found elsewhere in Egypt.

According to some reports I have read, they are believed to be tombs by most people, but there were no recordings of the pyramids being built in hieroglyphics, and there was also no coffin found in the large pyramid. And most tombs were underground.

Here is something from this article:
"
Much has been made of the fact that of all the pyramids of Egypt that have ever been explored, never once has the mummy of a pharaoh been found within."

Here is a video from Youtube about the Pyramids of Giza, which was probably built for some other purpose other than as a tomb.

Not likely. It probably could have been but probably wasn't.

The Ark of the Covenant was carried to what became Jerusalem and--as far as is known--was somewhere in Palestine when it went missing.

The Bible doesn't say that much about the disappearance. It does describe the travels of the Israelites carrying the Ark.

I would think it unlikely the Kings Chamber would be used for any other purpose than housing the sarcophagus of the King.

The Egyptians and the Jews have been longstanding enemies. The Ark of the Covenant interior the Kings Chambers would be like finding a signed photograph of Stalin's grandmother hidden in the Oval workplace. Even Ronald Regan wasn't that nutty

It is improbable, if not Impossible.
infact:
1) there are 1500 years between the age of building of great Pyramids and the age in which God gave law tables to Moses (Ark was made for the law tables). .. So why making the Pyramid for something thta didn't exist yet ?
2) Pyramids were tombs. and up to the surviving of Egyptian kingdom they were used as tombs.

I keep telling you people that it was in my garage, but I have moved it to a rented storage space.
