I love the whole movie, including the ending. They had to show that Tony lost everything, even his life and that crime doesn't pay (in the long run). I was a little sad when he died, but I would have been disappointed if he hadn't. Great movie.

I thought it was always leading up to that ending so I was satisfied that Tony got all he wanted and then some. I do wonder what happened to Elvira. Everyone else died and she was conspicously not shot. Perhaps the drug lord took her with him like Tony did....

I thought the ending was appropriate, even though it was a shame to see him go. But he had it coming. And the way he died was over the top, so it suited the way he lived.

Little bit of both. Kind of want him to have at least one baby w/ Michelle Phifer and I didn't want him to die. But the ending with the shoot out was pretty good.

i think the ending was inevitable.but he sure took out alot of guys with him. and he took a load of bullets and stayed standing.Remember, the guy in Columbia told him,"Don't f*** me,Tony!".i was most disapointed that he went shoutty crackers over his best friend being with his sister.that was the beginning of his downfall, i think.

No it was cool. How else could it end? Tony goes to rehab and becomes a car salesman?
