Yes, it's normal. It was about 9 months before I got all feeling back in my incision area. Some women never regain feeling and some experience permanent pain or itching in the scar. Just give it time! It takes about a year to fully heal, inside and out.

My little guy is 4 months old. I am starting to get feeling back. I massage the scar regularly to prevent the hard build up and keep it soft...I think this may have helped me get some of the feeling back. It is still muted...I guess is the best description. I can feel it when I scratch but it feels like I am scratching through jeans instead of the skin. I asked a similar question when I was at your stage and a lot of people said they never get feeling back.

Yes it is normal. The same thing happened to me when i had mine. It's because the muscle was cut and it takes time to heal. It will be sensative for a while but it will heal and you will get the feeling back. It may get sensative at times for a while after too.

Supper normal! My son is 16mths and I am prego with my second 12 wks and I still have a small numb patch directly below my navel and just above my scar, dr said it heals slow as it is nerves healing so one day full feeling will return. I thought it was pretty freaky at first I still lean on hot and cold things and can't feel a thing! Congrats on your birth!

i had an ectopic pregnancy and my tube was removed surgically through my belly near my hairline across about the length of my palm and it was numb on either sides of the cut and both hap bones for about a year.i was told the nerves get cut during operation that it heals with time.

This is perfectly normal. My daughter is almost 11 and I still have no feeling there. I asked my Dr. about it. It's scar tissue. My incision does get itchy at times though!

Yes it is normal. Also you may start to get hypersensitivity too. Talk to your dr. If you don't like the answer ask another one.

Maybe because of the anesthesia.. Our bodies have different ways to response to medicines. Take it easy. You'll be fine. =)
