Hi, i know u take Tryptophan with Duloxetine, Duloxetine stops you losing Serotonin and Norepinephrine 2 of the big 3 feelgood chemicals and the Tryptophan adds Serotonin, recently u said you were playing around with the doses, just wondering if u reverted back to the doses that the doc had prescribed?
Making too much Serotonin makes you sleepy also a lack of sleep in the night makes you tired next day and what about the exercise? still going? maybe u could email me and tell me how long have u been on these meds, what the doses are, how are your sleep patterns, what time u go to bed, exercise, what are eating? chocolate can keep you awake.
How are you mentally? let me know and i will do some research see what i can find...

Mmm...your breakfast is the problem. You need to try having some protein (eggs are best) and a lot more than just corn flakes--they actually turn into pure sugar, give you a slight lift, then crash down again! Protein powder shakes are also good if you can't stand food in the morning. Have a bit of cheese and cracker or other snack about 10 am and a good lunch. I'll bet you feel better in a few days. A good multivitamin wouldn't hurt either.

Firstly try adjusting your diet. Try changing from white bread to wholemeal, same with pasta (doesn't taste much difference) - and try to avoid to many carbs. They are good for initial energy but make you feel tired later on whereas more protein based foods (and the wholemeal items) provide energy to the body over a longer, more even, period.
Secondly if you can, try exercising more. Although it may initially make you tired by pushing yourself, it won't be long before you feel the benefits and will have more energy.
In the meantime I would also consider seeing your doctor. Get some blood tests done - which i am sure they will suggest. I can't imaginge in would be anything serious but your body may be lacking in something and they will highlight that for you. Thyroid issues maybe?!?!
Good luck

We all need 40 winks about that time of day, nothing unusual about that. lay off the lucozade first thing and as for the loud music, if you're listening to the crap in the charts nowadays, i'm not surprised your feeling sleepy.

well first of all, stop listening to the loud music because it could be one of the reasons ur getting tired. Just try to relax and listen to some nice music. Not loud or rock or anything just something that you enjoy that is nice and don't listen to it too loud.

I would talk to your doctor and have them run blood tests, because it might be your Thyroid. If if is inderactive it will make you tired. Also with some people, the more sleep they get the more tired they feel. Hope this helps
