I've been reading up about the different presidential candidates a lot lately, and I was under the impression that Hillary Clinton didn't necessarily agree with abortion, but she wants it to be legal, and just try and limit the number of abortions in different ways.
The other day my friend said that Hillary Clinton now wants to make it legal for someone to get an abortion when they're 9 months pregnant? I really didn't believe it, because he probably got this information from his ridiculously right winged father.
Where could this information could have come from? Is there any truth to it?

No, it's not true, it's ridiculous and you are right. Your friend got it from SOME right wing wacko, whether it was his father or someone else. She's always been adamantly pro-choice. But that doesn't mean she likes abortion. It just means she believes in a woman's right to choose. Of course she would love to find a way to reduce the number of abortions in this country, all pro-choice people would like to see that happen. Got to give you credit, at least you aren't willing to believe everything people tell you without checking it out first. Don't ever lose that attribute!

I have never heard Senator Clinton take a position that abortion should be legal (except when necessary to save the life of the mother) at nine months. That sounds like the typical mischaracterization of the pro-choice movement that you get out of the most extreme and demagogic members of the pro-life movement.
