If you had one month to live and a million dollars to "live it up" or do what you wanted to with it, what would you do with your time and your money?
I have to think about this myself so I'm not giving you my thoughts right now

I would pay off my kids debts, and give each of them $250,000.00 and hope they would use some of it for education for themselves and their partners. They would get my life insurance too.
I would take the whole family on a world wide trip, see the Taj Mahal in the moonlight, Venice, dine at the top of the Eiffel tower, take a ride in an air balloon over Tuscany, see the Grand canyon, Montreal, PEI, Norway and Switzerland, take them to Beijing and Shanghai. See the elephants in the mist in Thailand. Visit Hong Kong. Then my last thing would be a cruise up the inside passage to Alaska to see the glaciers and the polar bears.
What was left I would split between three female friends of mine.

I'd go skydiving, I'd go Rocky Mountain climbing, I'd go 2.7 seconds on a bull named Fu-Man-Chu. And I'd love deeper and I'd talk sweeter, And I'd gave forgiveness I'd been denyin'
Oh wait.. Thats a song!
Back to your question..
I would just spend every waking moment I could with family and friends.. And put the million in a bank for my family when I'm gone.. They are going to need it more then me just having "FUN". I think I would be too depressed to "Live it up"

This is going to sound goody two shoes..but .. I thought about this question a lot, and here is what I would actually do. I would want to see everyone I have had friendships with, family, etc. ... visit each for a short time, make sure that I had nothing to be sorry for in this life with each one. I would tell no one I was dying, period. I would find out if each were okay in life, was there anything they actually needed. Those in need, I would try to help in whatever way I could, then move on to the next. I would NOT make my kids richer, but I would be very sure they were okay in life. IF anything were left over after this journey, I would give it to non-religious hospices who take care of dying people. I would hope that I could leave this life with no Karmic debt. In thinking about this question, I realized that I have done just about everything, and more, that I have really wanted to do...that does not mean that I am out of things, it just means that the things I thought to be important to me..I have done. I would spend the time it takes to make sure my other half could run the business competently and be okay in life. Other than that, I have no aspirations. Hoaky, huh? But at least, truthful. Peace and love, Phil

Who knows? I'd like to think I would not tell my family that I was dying; however, how then would I be able to have the MOST of their time which I would like to have before passing on?
I WOULD try to ease my family's financial future with the money - and other than that help out a couple of friends for the same reason. I'd maybe spend the last week or so on my favorite beach in the Caribbean and just float off into the evening sunset.
Dunno - this is depressing to think about and I think too much about my own mortality as it is...no offense, just the truth.

I would buy all my kids a home, that would probably take care of at least 2/3rd's of it, and the rest I would put in a trust fund for my grandchildren.
I would then make sure that somehow, we could all spend that last month together, at an old beach house, away from the madding crowd, and we could just laugh, love and enjoy each other. Then I would tell them loved them all so much, and to go on with their lives, and sometimes, but not often, just open the photograph album, and smile. Hoping that the last night would be "une bonne soiree:'- c'est ca"

Well, the money would do our kids more good than it would me. Our plots are bought and paid for, but our services aren't paid for yet -- although we could get the necessary funds easily from our retirement account.
I'd spend that month getting my affairs in order and tossing out things I don't want my children to be saddled with afterward. That would include almost all my clothes and toiletries.
They can have my books and my pictures and any jewelry they want. The rest can be tossed. Bob, of course, has first dibs on anything and everything.

I would go to Fred Jordans downtown LA mission and have a hugh party then take everyone to Disneyland. Every child would get new school clothes and shoes, so would the adults. I would hire some clowns to go entertain the children at Shriners Childrens Hospital, if I had any left I would give it to Sheperds Chapel TV ministry.

I'd go travelling all over the world, starting with Asia. Depending on how much time I had, I'd marry my loved one and then for the last week, I'd party non-stop, never sleep and go out with a bang. I'd also do all those daredevil things such as bungee-jumping and skydiving. After telling everyone the things I've always needed to tell them, even if it's 'I've always admired your hairdoo'.

Go on a massive excursion around the world. Visit everything from Japan to Spain to India to Egypt to New Zealand.
I wouldn't be able to die happy knowing that there are places in the world I haven't seen yet.
