i want to play Call of duty 4 and i have intel GMA X3100......is it any good for playing the game?

The X3100 is slightly better than a 6150m or 7150m. It won't be able to play COD4. It couldn't even play COD2. The 6600 struggles to play Battlefield 2 at decent settings. It won't be able to play COD4.

GMA X3100 is one of the best integrated graphics BUT all integrated graphics can not yet approach the performance of Geforce 6600 dedicated graphics.
GMA X3100 has hardware vertex shader. It can play many games at low settings.

Is the GeForce 6600 you mentioned an integrated video card or not? If not, I suggest it, it if is, you can choose blindly because sadly most integrated video cards pass the complicated visual effects to the processor.
