"Beowulf" is an animated film. Although, the animation was achieved by using motion capture much like the film "The Polar Express."

I think it is all like that, but I wouldn't call it animation, exactly. I saw an interview with one of the stars, and from what I got out of it, it was them acting the entire time but they did some computer thing to make them look animated.

They have the Actors acting it out. I saw in a magazine a while back a pic of Angelina Jolie and she was in some kinda body suit with wires and things taped to her , it was saying she was doing it for her upcoming movie. They do it by using a technique calle "digitally enhanced live action."

It is all animated but it is a new kind of animation. Not sure what it is called but, they turn the celebrities into the animated charecteres themselves. Just look at Angelina Jolie's charecter, it is essentially her animated.
