Actually your point of view is quite common for our generation, its actually a BIG dividing line. You can almost seperate people between 18-28 by those that do what kiddos and those that don't. Me personally need alot more then just "wow I love her, she is so cute" before I'm going to have a kiddo with a lady, needs to be a product of one heck of a relatinoship, not a way to try and make one heck of a relationship, which is were most people f up, not my flavour, not my way.....

I just now saw that you asked this question....Actually, I feel the same way. I LOVE children. My closest friends have kids & I'm their "Aunt Dawn". I have 2 nephews that were with me most of the time, when they were little. I'm good with kids. I was at the hospital & watched one of my godchildren being born. But I sometimes get very tense & stressed. My life is hectic & I worry a lot. If I had my own child, I know that I would worry myself into a mental state. When I'm sick, I need to lie in bed. When you have children, you can't do that. If you want to go somewhere, you have to find a babysitter, you can't just go. So I understand exactly how you feel. I love kids to pieces, but I don't think I would want a child of my own, that would be 100% my responsibility 24/7....so no, you're not alone :o)
