Doesn't depend on what my views are. Depends on the issues that are affecting the life of this country. Unfortunately, as the Soviet Union in Communistic times, this country is running a make believe "democratic system". Presidents are chosen even before elections and are elected from the establishment. The ideal candidate should be somebody that represents, literally, the very principle that heads the most important document in this country, no not the Bible, THE CONSTITUTION. "WE THE PEOPLE"
A government "OF THE PEOPLE,BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE".

I believe the environment is the most important factor in picking the next candidate. I VOTE GREEN! Because I know there are more options than republican or democrat. I refuse to limit myself to views I disagree with. I think their views are shallow and lacking the ability to see the big picture. If the earth dies, we all die.

The important issues are:
Being opposed not only to the Iraq War, but to the idiotic foreign policy of Imperialism that creates terrorists, entrenches dictators, and destabilizes the world.
Supporting repeal of the 16th Amendment and to dump the IRS and replace it with nothing.
Protecting our borders and therefore actually being strong on defense
Opposing all schemes for a government takeover of the health care system and supporting a privatization of the current semi-socialist system
The only candidate who meets these criteria or even comes close is Ron Paul, who is fresh off raising $4 million yesterday.

You have to do some research yourself.
It is not only ones views on important issues but the capabilities to get the issues implemented with maximum consensus. If not exactly consensus, (since US does not have parliamentary democracy), involving as many stake holders as would be possible with in a given time frame.

The dollar collapse, the North American Union, The National ID card, Free speech zones,Foreign policy aka wars.
In my 6 months of very careful research there is only one that has solutions for my concerns Ron Paul, oh did I mention he just made history today. His supporters across the USA donated 4.2 million in 24 hrs. Looks to me as if his message and 10 terms in congress of perfect voting for the people is starting to take wings.

anybody could be counseled. the themes of each candidate are on the cyber web. there isn't any excuse for political lack of information. many years of examine tutor that maximum ( a whopping70%) electorate be attentive to little or no approximately politics and public coverage. lack of information is going previous loss of know-how of particular themes. maximum electorate lack elementary history know-how approximately political leaders, events and the form of government. on the comparable time, attention of the possibility that a central authority with fewer purposes may be much less complicated for electorate to understand and administration. As JFK reported in 1963, “The lack of information of one voter in a democracy impairs the risk-free practices of all.”
