Is it inapropriate for teenagers?

not really,
the only graphic thing is the killing at the end of the movie.
i consider it more of a murder mystery than horror movie.

I love the movie but since it has a lot of murder in it I guess it depends on the age of the teenager.

Not really. It is more suspenseful. The only thing that might be inappropriate for younger teens is the sex scene but its pretty pg-13 anyway.
