If RUNNING LAPTOP from mains for a long time, YES take battery out

If you've USED the battery and it need charged you need to LEAVE IT IN, or it will NOT contact with the power source to charge up !

No, when you are charging it up, you are putting a charge in the battery. If you are using it like at your desk and what to plug it in instead of using the battery, that's when you should take out the battery. That way it will not damage the battery. When charging it up you have to have the battery in or it will not charge it up. =)

ok, im so going to be nice about this lol. but how would you possible charge the battery if you remove it when you plug it in???? you can run your laptop off the power cord but you can't charge the battery if it is removed. just like anything else lol
