Does it frustrate you when you get a thumbs down for answer? Because you feel like you put thought into your answer and then someone has to give you a thumbs down just maybe because your answer might have been better than theirs. The only time I give a thumbs down to people is when they are being rude and giving obnoxious answers.

some people have nothing better to do so they give thumbs down for fun. i don't really care if i get a thumbs down. i agree with you. i give thumbs down to those are rude.

If you're answering a factual question, then I guess the thumbs down would mean that you're answering the wrong facts. But if you're answering in P&S, then thumbs down would mean a lame answer =)

I bet I get 20 for my answer..
People go down the page and do it, and you can always tell who it was.
It does frustrate me to some extent, but oh well, what can you do.
Theres alot of jealousy going around here on Answers.

No it doesn't bother me. I ignore it. I was around before they started it and never made it a habit of looking back. I just answer and keep on going

yeah i hate it when ppl give thumbs down just because they don't agree with you. everyone should have their own opinion

well i think its juss that people are jealous or maybe they dont have that much of education to know the right ans and or cant express themselves so they dont want you to get the credit, :D
