If you love the experimental Penderecki (pronounced Pen-der-retsky) of the 1960s and 1970s then try the following:

Tadeusz Baird (another experimental Polish composer)
Kazimierz Serocki (yet another Pole)
György Ligeti (try 'Atmosphères' and the Requiem)
Alfred Schnittke
Harrison Birtwistle
