I've never heard of it harming anyone.. I think you should do them like the way you do exercises. Although it's more beneficial if you do kegel exercises everyday.

RE:
How often should I do kegel exercises?
I heard that doing them too much can actually harm you(if you're a man) than give you benefits during sex.

20 repetitions held for 3 seconds each... 3 times a day.. you will gush like a donkey. (PC exercises - women call them kegels... I reckon)

Nope, all kegels acheive is a stronger pelvic muscle. This doesn't harm you at all, so don't worry.

a few years ago, I started to lose the strength of my erections I mean Im 59 now and always had good strength but for whatever reason I started to lose the erections I once had and was concerned as all men are. Anyway I did try Cialis and it works somewhat but if you do not have the muscle strength eventually those pills no longer have the same affect. So anyway, I started doing Kegal as my wife does them and said it may benefit you as well. I Started doing them and also asked my urologist if they would help. She said she advises all of her patients to do these every day a few times a day. So anyway after about 4 weeks I could really honestly see the vast improvement in my erection and so could my wife. My erections use to be in a down position and now they are almost at a straight up position. Picture holding your hand with all your fingers apart. Your thumb would represent how they were as a young man and over time with that pelvic floor muscle loosening your erection position would change to match the other finger on your hand..so try it which position using your hand as above is your erection? In Short.. hey help significantly not only with erection but also slowing down the need to urinate as much as we get older.

That's a new one. It's just a way to control certain muscles in that part of the woods. no pun intended.
