Why oh why did you buy a graphics card without checking?????

With the limited info offered, prior to purchase you should of checked:

- Is my motherboard able to take a PCI-Express card?
- Have I enough room to fit this card (Its extremely big)
- Have you enough power to run the card? you require a min of 650watt power supply
- Does your power supply have x2 6 pin connectors to run this card?

If you have never changed a graphics card before, please dont try now and risk ruining your new card.

8800GT is slimmer than the rest of 8800 series. It will not cover the space of the next PCI or PCIe slot. It should fit any x16 PCIe graphics slot. Your next concern would be the power supply. Be sure it has strong +12V rail (at least 26 amps) because 8800GT draws 110 watts. You also need a PCIe power connector.

Not enough information provided. If your motherbooard is using PCI-Express then yes. You will most likely need to upgrade your power supply to support this new graphics card though.

before getting a vid card check your mobo slot. i think they are both pci-e. if they are the same then you could use it. take note some pci-e vid cards require external power supply other than the mobo.
