A good thing for you to do would be to go to your local library and find a career book. It will list just about every job out there and tells everything from wage, hours, pros and cons of the career, number of expected openings / ease of finding a job in your state. It also has a couple paragraphs that describe what to expect in the job and what college courses need to be taken. Thats how I chose mine: software developer. You only live once, so find a job that you like.

heh...sounds like you are destined to be a professional computer geek ;-)

actually, if you like IT and computers, you can make a lot of money and the field is ever-changing so it can be hard to get bored.

I recommend taking a few career tests somewhere on the internet or ask at school about them. They can help you determine likes and dislikes, and get you on the path to choosing a career that suits you best.

You have to sleep and eat, but you don't have to play computer games! Not everyone does, which tells me that you like computers. I would look into something computer related or something that uses kinesthetic and visual skills such as graphic design or computer programming.

Hope this helps!

Whatever you do, you are going to need a new attitude in order to land a job, much less a top one.
