this is my first pregnancy, and I'm going to the doctor later this week.....
Is there some thing really wrong with me?
How common is this, what causes this, and how will it affect my later milk supply?

mine started earlier than that with my first pregnancy. There is nothing wrong and competly normal...very common. It will not affect your supply later. It is just due to your good hormone level...its a good sign ..its just a little inconvenient and disturbing the first time.

Normal. Doesn't have any bearing on your milk supply.
Nothing is wrong with you. This is totally normal. Some women barely leak anything if at all...others leak really early.
I've always been an early leaker myself. Don't worry...the colostrum hangs around until after you have the baby...baby will eat up that liquid gold the first few days, then with the suckling action, your milk will come in.
Relax. You're doing just fine.

Many women experience some leakage of colostrum during pregnancy, often beginning around the fifth or sixth month. Other women never leak colostrum, though it is still being produced within their breasts.
Your body will produce colostrum for your new baby during her first three to four days of life, transitioning into mature milk by the time she is about two weeks old. There is no reason to worry about your colostrum being "used up." Milk is made within your breasts as your baby nurses. She will have all she needs if she is put to your breast early and often. I've had 4 kids and I've noticed that my prenatal colostrum supply (whether it leaked or was barely noticeable during pregnancy) had no bearing whatsoever on my postnatal milk supply....

It began on an identical time for me to i'm via have my infant Saturday :) and it has unexpectedly slowed down! The scientific expert has certain me it is via fact the breasts are commencing to swell n prepare for milk :) you will produce sufficient milk for infant
