It really pisses me off when someone weaves in out of traffic to get ahead of everyone and then I end up being right behind the jerk at a stop light 5 minutes later. I just dont see what the hurry is. I have noticed that people trying to cross Algonquin Rd at Old Sutton Rd love to take chances of crossing in so little time and distance of oncoming traffic. Has anyone see this happen?

I didnt stereotype. I could have said all instead of most. Not all people drives like jerks. There are some very decent drivers out there.

Because people get caught up in the rat race of life and demand on driving quick and speedily to their destination. If everyone showed a little common courtesy and didn't demand on such a fast paced lifestyle I think we'd have less jerks on the road.
Plus people tend to get distracted while they drive. While they are not intentionally being jerks their lack of attention to the road causes them to make mistakes and exhibit jerk-like behavior.

Same problem. Everyone is going to the same stoplight or on the same path to their destination. I drive to school everyday on express way and its so stupid when people cut in front of me and we end up at a red light. They think they can get to their destination faster if they cut you. Thing is driving school isn't required and all they drivers have to do is past the driving exam. There is no morality or etiquette that they learn ---> thus ensuing road rage. If there is a support of social rules for driving then that would be something short of a miracle. Of course not a lot of complanies are funding that. Saw a billboard ad from Shell saying "Why the long horn-beep?" And Need for speed and racing movies dont help this cause.

Well, most people dont. Yes, there are jerks out there who think they own the road and can do whatever they want. But if most people were jerks, there's no way you could drive on the road without accidents happening every few seconds.

Different people behave in different ways when behind the wheel. My cousin for instants has a sporty car and hates when people drive slow in front of him or when people slow down to guak at an accident or slow down because of a police car. I believe that people drive irrational because they see fault in how everyone else drives, causing them to become more agressive.

Because most people are cowards, but being within over a ton of steel makes them feel safe. The combination of their cowardice and them feeling safe makes them act out and act aggressively because it's their only chance to do so.

It can be for various reasons. With me it's when I'm trying to get somewhere, like work on time. I think about the goal of being on time and forget the courtesy sometimes.

Because they think they're in a hurry when they aren't; or they just think they own the street and should be up front.
