E) Take Santa hostage, recruit his eleves into my Legions of Terror, and serve up Blitzen with a side of Fava beans, lentil stew, and a nice Chianti.

Okay, I'll admit, I was planning on doing that regardless of how early they started playing X-mas music.

e Other

Nothing-I continue to listen to the radio but avoid their station until Thanksgiving Day, Novdember 22, 2007 so that I am not drawn into the commercialism of what will always be a beautiful holiday season!

I am not going to let anyone change the way I feel about Boxing Day (horrible), Christmas, Eid Aladha, Hannukah and Kwanzaa.

If we as consumers do not listen when radio stations do this (one in my area has chosen to as well!) their ratings will drop. In radio its all about ratings. They wont do anything that changes their rank in their local market more than once if it decreases their rank which changes what they can charge advertisers

B or D.

I hate it when they start playing Christmas music in November. 2-3 weeks before Christmas is fine, but a month and half (like a station around here does) is WAY too much! I think it makes the music worse, since there's only so many songs they play and you get bored of them by the time it's actually getting close to Christmas.

a) ho ho ho! Bring it on! Then again, i don't really listen to the radio, and i don't have a favourite station. I listen to cds, or what's on my playlist on my computer of songs i've ripped into it, or downloaded. ♥

I get mad.

A station here in Detroit has been playing Christmas music since Nov 1 (I think) and I HATE IT.

I don't mind *some* Christmas music but ALL THE DAMN TIME?

e) Ipod

One of the beauties of the ipod is that you can finish all your shopping without ever having to hear another crappy version of Jingle Bell Rock or the Little Drummer Boy.

Christmas Rock Songs all suck (the Kinks' Father Christmas being the exception that proves the rule) and make me start plotting the death of every alleged musician ever involved in the trans-siberian orchestra.

D or E

I'd go to the station, tie them up, spray them with whipped cream and threaten to call the cocker spaniel who likes to eat whipped cream covered things.
